The events of the past 12 months have given us time to think about important questions.

What do we value? What would we like to do with our lives? Aims for our financial future? And what sort of legacy do we want leave?

Perhaps you’ve wrestled with these issues yourself. Or maybe you’ve been so busy with your job, or steering your business through the pandemic, that you’ve pushed them to the back of your mind.

Either way, everyone can benefit from clarity — a clear sense of our purpose and priorities, as well as the inevitable trade-offs that life demands. And we all need to have a plan.

That’s where a good financial planner can help.

A new financial planning firm for Brighton

RockWealth is a small but growing network of financial planning firms across the UK. It’s built on total transparency, an evidence-based approach and a commitment to fair fees. Brighton, our newest office, has just opened.

The office in Trafalgar Place is run by Steven Williams, a highly experienced financial planner with a passion for his job.

“I love talking to clients about their lives, dreams and aspirations,” says Steven. “I value hugely the chance to earn a client’s trust, to be part of their personal growth and development, and to provide them with useful insights.”

Steven believes that the experience of lockdown and the uncertainties surrounding Brexit mean that people are especially keen now for greater clarity in their financial lives.

”Money often creates feelings of anxiety and fear for people,” he says.

“Working in partnership with a skilled professional you trust helps you to overcome these fears and be courageous in pursuit of what is truly important to you. This is a step that most people do not appreciate until they experience this type of planning.”

A firm that reflects the Brighton area

RockWealth has offices in Gloucestershire, Warwickshire and Norfolk, but Steven is determined to make RockWealth Brighton reflect the town that’s become his adopted home.

“I moved to Brighton in 2018,” he says, “because I’ve long enjoyed its arts and music scene, and its vegetarian restaurants.

“Now I want to become a part of what makes Brighton such a wonderfully tolerant, creative and energetic place to live.

“I’m particularly keen to work with entrepreneurial business owners and not-for-profit organisations. But, most of all, I want to work with curious and motivated local people who care about the world we live in and who want to make a positive difference.”
